If you assist clients with building websites or Internet marketing, then you don't need all the introductory materials I've developed, so I'll skip that. You know that already.

The Web Marketing Today site is huge (2,500 pages plus), so here's a quick outline of what you'll find here. I provide information about Internet marketing in the form of articles, annotated links to key articles, newsletters, books, and seminars.

I provide information about Internet marketing. This is how the site is organized:

  1. Web Marketing Today Free Edition is our e-mail newsletter published to 108,000+ confirmed opt-in subscribers . I recommend that you subscribe -- it's free -- though you'll know a lot of what I talk about. However, here's where I share some new tips and ideas, so keep an eye on this when it comes.

    Don't be too quick to judge this as beneath you. I can write for the most technical Internet marketers, but I have a gift of being able to write to be understood even by people new to the field. Don't mistake good writing for baby-level content.

    You can also search my articles for keywords using the search form at the top left of every page in the site.

  2. Web Marketing Today Premium Edition is my paid e-mail newsletter and where the real meat is. Each issue (nearly monthly) I am researching and writing on an important area of Internet marketing. Most of these issues written for my subscribers are subsequently turned into short business reports -- sometimes full-length books. Each month you'll also receive via e-mail about 150 to 200 new annotated links (see below), to keep you up-to-date in the field. When you subscribe you get nearly all of my key e-books worth several hundred dollars (see below). It's a tremendous deal for only $49.95 annually, especially for consultants used to paying several hundred or thousand dollars for such well-researched, actionable information.

  3. Planning Your Internet Marketing StrategyBooks. I've written more than a dozen books on all facets of Internet marketing. John Wiley and Son published my Planning Your Internet Marketing Strategy -- a good place to start. I've also written self-published books on shopping carts, e-mail marketing, landing pages, promoting a local business, and starting an e-business on a shoestring. You'll find lots of wisdom collected in these books. You can download most as e-books or order print copies. Some of these are written for novices, others for those with experience under their belts who want to learn more.
  4. Annotated Links, called the Web Marketing Info Center, comprise more than 19,000 articles and resources on Internet marketing. Every month my team and I scour the Internet for new articles and resources on 105 topics. The database of annotated links includes the author, title, publication, date, URL, and a brief synopsis of what the article is about, saving you huge swatches of research time.

    Every month we add about 150-200 links and periodically purge the bad links. About half of these are free to all. But the topics about selling online are reserved for my paid subscribers. You can search the annotated links database using the search form at the top left of every page in the site.

    If you're already a marketing expert, this section alone will save you lots of research time. Within minutes you will have found the most up-to-date, on-point articles available on the Web, rather than taking hours of painful searching.

  5. Dr. Ralph F. WilsonAbout Dr. Wilson. I'm a pretty known entity online, having been a pioneer in the field of Internet marketing since beginning Web Marketing Today in 1995. Tens of thousands of successful online businesses have gotten their start from articles, e-books, and information on my site.
